Hey yall! It was a good first week back in Orem!!! Being in YSA is pretty different than being in a family ward...no more kids running around. And sacrament meeting was actually quiet! Hahaha but it was super fun!
On Monday and Tuesday we were in a trio, me Hermana Moala
and Hermana Gilbert! It was so much fun, I love them!! We had some fun lessons
and I got to know some people in the ward! Hermana Gilbert said bye to everyone
and so I met some people we were teaching also!
Wednesday we had transfers and dang after that the week went
by so slow... idk why tho... we were kinda busy the whole week!
On Thursday we had a lesson with our friend Javier and we
were planning on teaching the Restoration and we only got to explaining
prophets and priesthood power and how that's the power to baptize and he tells
us how he's been thinking about baptism because he wants a remission of sins
and so we put him on date for the 13th!!! YAYAY
THEN literally an hour later we had our third lesson with
this guy named David and we read 2 Nephi 31 with him and talked a lot about
baptism and the holy ghost! We invited him to be baptized the 19th and he said
yes!! YAYAY
It was such a great week!
On Sunday we had some friends pull up to sacrament... but
not Javier so his baptism is gonna change..rip
But ya super fun!!!
YSA is fun, weird and awkward... I'll attach some texts
HAHA
but I love you all and I hope you have a great week!!
Here's a quick scripture that I loved this week!
Alma 29:9
"I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I
glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath
commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in
the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy."
LOVE YOU
