for my fans

HEY GUYS!!! HOW ARE YOU?!

My mom told me I actually need to send an email every week, so I'll try not to disappoint 😂

Here's some highlights from last week and this week!!

- well it was Easter Soo happy late Easter!

- last pday we went the Ted Bundy caves!!! That was wild, there were 2 metal fences type things blocking it but somehow we still got in....

- on Tuesday we had a sisters devotional. LOVED that, it was so much fun and all the talks were awesome!!

- on Thursday we did some service for Ashley and Sabrina (our polygamist family that we love) we helped them clean the house and then Ashley taught us how to make some bussin enchiladas!!!! We also were able to meet Sabrina's NEW BABY!! She's SOOOO cute!

- on Friday I got to go on my first 24 hour exchange with Hermana Hu'akau!!! I love her SOOOO much!!! We were able to find 2 new people to teach #exchangemiracles #blessed #yeet

- on Sunday we helped the English elders do this youth fireside for their stake! It was awesome!!

- we didn't get that many lessons in this week because our friends are really hard to schedule with, and we don't even have that many friends. It's sad tbh but we are just trying our best to find more and to meet with the ones we have!!!

- today we played soccer and basketball and ate at a pizza place with our district!

- today also Ashley asked if we could come over and help her get the house ready for Sabrina's baby's blessing!! So we were able to do that and gelp them out!! I seriously love that family sooo much!!!

I've been thinking a lot about prayer and how it works!! We first just need to do it and then have the faith and trust God. He has and will continue to bless us and give us miracles!! Here's my fav scripture at the moment : "And Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me."

Moroni 7:33

Love you all so much!!!!!

Have the best week!

POLYGAMY... it's a thing

Wowowowowow what a crazy first week in Eagle Mountain!!!!

Where do I even begin?!?!

So on Monday and Tuesday we were basically just saying goodbye to all of our friends and members. We were able to have 2 fantastic send off dinners from 2 families in our ward! The Zamudios had us over for wings. They bought us 60 wings from buffalo wild wings and it was SO good. Then later that night we had an amazing Ecuadorian meal that the Tenecelas made us!!!

On Wednesday it was transfers so we all met at the mission office and talked until we it was time to leave with our new companions! So I met up with Hermana Pringle and we headed to Eagle mountain! It's so fun here and people actually have back yards!!!

On Thursday and Friday we went to this old couples house and did about 9 hours of service for them.. we took everything out of there garage... there was so much

Thursday evening we went to the polygamist area because the English elders told us that they know one that is Latino. So first they introduced us to this 17 year old kid named Jed. He's so awesome... he's actually a recent convert and was baptized a couple months ago! He told us his conversion story and Hermana Pringle recorded it for our missions Facebook page! After we went to the lady's house but her husband said she was busy :( Then the Elders introduced us to this other polygamist family before we left and we met Ryan and his wife Sabrina. They are super nice and we taught them the Restoration! So that was my first time meeting a polygamist but it was fun!

On Friday we had a lesson with a girl named Jocelyn. She's 13 and she's awesome. She reads the book of Mormon and prays almost everynight!!! So we are SUPER excited about that and are hoping to put her on date pretty soon.

Saturday we did soccer with our investigators in our ward and the other Spanish ward and then later that day we had our ward activity where people brought their favorite meals from their country and shared it with everyone!!! It was so good and the all the ward members were so nice!

Alrighty...Sunday is where it gets a little weird. So the elders told us that one of Ryan's wife's was Latina and to come meet her. So we were doing a lesson with her, Ryan AND Sabrina. Hahaha that was a little interesting. So we taught the plan of salvation to them and they already knew it because they have the same beliefs as us basically. After we were done, Ryan asked us if we had any questions and so the elders asked a couple questions and it was pretty casual, just us talking and asking questions and then after we knew it they had told us everything about their religion!!! When we left we all felt so weird. We found out that Ryan is a "seventy" for their church and that he is one of their missionaries!!! So we called President and he told us that we can still go by for food or service just not to teach them or let them teach us!!! So ya they were trying to convert us to their religion... it almost worked... jk...

No but for real, it helped me gain a stronger testimony of our Prophet, President Nelson and to reaffirm my testimony that this is the only true church!!! I'm so grateful for all of my experiences and the things I have been able to learn from them!!!

Love ya'll soooo much and I hope you have the BEST week!!!

CONFERENCE AND TRANSFERS

Hey guys!!!! Just another awesome week here in the UOM!!

-on Monday we had our 1st lesson with our friend Julio, and we started to teach the restoration and he stopped us in the middle of it and told us he wanted to be baptized!!! So we set a date right then for April 12th which is actually his 76th birthday!!!

- we were able to go to the temple with Evelyn and Luis for their first time! It was so special!!!

- Tuesday we had a lesson with Uriel and we were teaching him about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and trying to really emphasize baptism. He told us he wants to change and be better so we invited him to be baptized on April 16th and he accepted!!! We are so excited! Keep him in your prayers!!

- on Wednesday I went on an exchange with Hermana Lybbert and that was super fun!!!

- Thursday we had our last DC for the transfer, kinda sad :,(

- I went on another exchange on Thursday with Hermana Dover and I love her!!

- on Saturday me and Hermana Cottrell were able to take the train to Salt Lake and go to the Saturday morning session!!! It was so amazing to be able to go in person and listen to our prophet and apostles.

- general conference was amazing. I loved how there was a focus on missionary work, because everyone can be a missionary no matter your age or if you have a tag!!

- Sunday night we had transfer calls... I'm getting transferred to Ranches, it's in Eagle Mountain!!! I'm going to be with Hermana Pringle so that's exciting!

Ok here's a fun story about transfers... a couple weeks ago I had a dream where we had gotten transfer calls and I was called to go to Eagle mountain, so in my dream I packed everything that night and went to meet my new comp. I recognized my comp but I didn't know exactly who it was. So then like a week later we had zone Conference and at lunch Hermana Pringle and her comp sat with us and she looked exactly like the person in my dream!!! So I told a couple people and so when president called us for transfers he asked if I was ready for my news and I said yes. He was like "ok I heard you had a dream,  what was it?" So I said that it was how I was comps with Hermana Pringle! And he said that I was right!!!! It was crazy! So needless to say I'm super pumped, but also so sad to leave my area and Hermana Cottrell 😭😭😭

I'll update yall next week on the new area and comp!!! I love you guys and I hope you have the best week!!!!!
