HOLA A TODOS

So this week was super fun!

Here's some highlights from the week:

- on Sunday we went to a members house for dinner! That was super fun. We LOVE this family so much. They are from Columbia so they made us a Columbian dish! Their son just got home from his mission a couple months ago and so he had his mission comp over and they made an Argentinian dish for us also. We drank mate and it was Hermana Cottrell's first time and guess what... she hated it HAHA

- on Monday was pday and we did a combined district activity and we played volleyball, that was super fun!

-on Tuesday we were able to have a lesson with our friend Alberto. He is a really awesome guy, he comes to church every other week when he doesn't have his grandkids with him, and he is super open to learning so that's awesome!!

-on Wednesday I went on exchanges with Hermana Gilbert again! I love her. This time we went into my area and we just did some contacting. Later that night the elders quorum president in our ward came up to us after a meeting we had at the church and told us about a family from Ecuador that we should visit. We went straight to their house and we were able to have a lesson with the mom and the daughter, they told us straight away that they were evangelical but they told us we could come back... YAY

-Thursday was wild. We got a call from the YSA sisters and they told us about a mom and a son who just got here from Columbia who had told them they felt it was right to learn about the church while they are here! So we had a lesson with the son Sebastián about the restoration and he loved it. He said he wanted to come to church so we set up a chapel tour with him and his mom for Saturday!

- Thursday also we went to a referral we got and they didn't answer, but when we were walking back to our car we saw this man walking his dog so we decided to go talk to him. We found out that he used to have the missionaries over every Saturday for a long time before he moved to this area! He said we could come over and he pointed out where he lived but we still had no idea so we had to get his number instead! LOL

- on Friday we had a BUSSIN lesson with our friend Erica. We talked about the restoration and she told us that she believes our church is true, but she said she didn't want to confuse her kids. The lesson ended off well and she told us she would pray to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet and if the church is true! Then she invited us over for dinner on Saturday!!!

-on Saturday we had our chapel tour!!!! We got to meet Sebastiáns mom and she's so nice!! After the tour of the chapel she was SO excited to come to church with us!

- we went to the dinner at Erica's and it was her kids birthday party hahaha. So we got to eat pasole with them and it was so fun!!

- on Sunday we went to a referral that some elders gave us and when we went they weren't home, BUT their were other family members in the house. We met Israel and Rojexys, they just moved here from Venezuela 2 months ago and hadn't really heard about the church. We gave a Book of Mormon intro and they loved it! So we are so excited to start teaching them!!

- and lastly we finally had a lesson with our friend Leslie after about 3 months. She comes to church every single week and goes to all the youth activities! She told us she wants to be a member but she didn't want to schedule a baptism date just yet, so now we are just working on having consistent lessons with her YAY!!!

This week was full of miracles and we were so blessed!! We were able to find 14 new people to teach! We are so excited to start teaching these people!!

I hope yall have a fantastic week!!!
