MILAGROS

Well hello everyone!!! 

This week was AMAZING. 

We have been praying for miracles and let me just tell ya, prayer works!!! 

Ok first off, our friend Ricardo who we haven't seen in a month because of his accident, called us this week thanking us for everything! (We had left him get well notes and heart attacked his door!) Then he invited us to come over the next day to have dinner with him and talk! So we went over the next day and it was just so good to see him again and catch up! 

Second! We had a fathers day activity this week for our ward! First of all it was super fun and second our bishop came up to us and told us that there was a guy who just moved here who wants to meet us! So we met him and his name is Ray! He's suuuper awesome. He is so ready to learn and asked when we could come over and teach him more and talk about the Book of Mormon! We told him that night we were available and he agreed! He's super awesome and has incredible faith in Jesus Christ! 

Third! We got a referral from the English elders in our area saying that they met a mom and her son who spoke Spanish and they said that we could go visit them! So we went over on Saturday and a man named Jorge opened the door! We talked to him a little bit, got to know him and asked if he every heard of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and he said he hasn't heard of a lot of churches 😂 we ended up giving him a book of mormon and he insisted he pay us for it and we were like no! It's free!!! Hahaha but he said we can come back this Saturday to meet with the whole family!!! 

We were able to have a noche de hogar tonight with Ricardo and his family and it went super well! They found out I play piano so I had to play the hymns... should've kept it a secret smh... jk but we did the lesson and it went really well! I love that family so much! 

This week was seriously amazing! It felt super long tho, but worth every second. We had zone conference too but that felt like it was a month ago ahaha! It was awesome as always! 

We have transfer calls this Sunday, thats always exciting and stressful! We think Hermana Pringle is leaving because she's been here for 6 months! But I'm scared hahaha! Also we are singing in church this upcoming Sunday and we haven't even started practicing, so wish us luck! 

Also weirdest thing. Someone asked where I was from and I told them California! They told me they thought I was from somewhere in the south because apparently I have an accent?!?!?!... never got that one before. Better than a Utah accent tho...right? 👀 jk

We got to listen and be taught by Elder Bednar this week!

9 MONTHS ?!?!?!

helloooo to my favorite people. 

Well this week has been AWESOME haha. 

And I guess the last few weeks too haha, oops. Here some highlights: 

-we did service for Sabrina and she made us some amazing curry. 

-found some cats 

-the weather has been super weird. It will be hot one day and then rainy the next.

-saw a rainbow

-Ashley gave me and Pringle a "warning committed to purity" card HAHAHA

-had a fun little game night with the elders recent convert,  Moises 

-found a cricket in the house. That was NASTY

-finally got the elders to put on their matching ties we made them 

-hiked horsetail falls last pday...it was soooo pretty. It was snowing and raining almost the whole hike.

-got to go to the temple with our zone and an English zone!!! 

-got some in n out. First time eating that since before the mission. It was so good.  Miss those midnight runs :,(

-went on exchanges with Hermana Moala. This was so much fun. Started it off by spending way to much money at a Peruvian restaurant... but I couldn't help myself Peruvian food is just way to good. 

-me and Moala found 3 people that I've never even met my whole time here #exchangemiracles

-me and Moala found a camel... it was lowkey scary 

-went on a walk around the loop with Ashley and got some referrals by random cars driving by. YAY

-had a special meeting in our mission with Elder Godoy and his wife

-I got to go back to my old area for AMAYAHS BAPTISM!!! This was crazy. She was supposed to have her baptism on June 11th but then she called the missionaries over there yesterday morning saying she wanted to be baptized that day and so they planned it and it was a success!! So proud of her.

- I HIT 9 MONTHS TODAY!!! Ok thats a little crazy 

But overall these last couple weeks have been soooo awesome. We've been able to have more lessons with people and find more people. I love you all soooo much. You are all my favorite people and I hope you have a great week!
