hola hola!! cómo están!?
I hit 5 months yesterday what the heck!!! Thats crazyyyy I
feel like I've been here for about 2 or 3 months hahaha!
We had some fun things happen this last week!!!
- we went to the butterfly room and the dinosaur museum for
pday last week and that was super fun!!! The butterfly's will just land on you
and let you pick them up it's soooo cool!
- I cracked my phone RIP
- one of the members in our ward randomly texted us asking
if we wanted ice cream so he bought us ice cream and gave it to us!!!
- I had yet another exchange with Hermana Gilbert!!! It's
basically a weekly thing at this point! We went to her area and biked all
around Orem... let me just tell you that it was SO cold. We talked to a bunch
of people and found some new people for them to teach!
- I got a strawberry freeze from taco bell
- pretty much about everyday we get told that there's either
some amazing food place or store or activity place in Provo.... rip... sooo
Hermana Lake you can go there for me!!
- we have been having lessons with a man named Alejandro and
they have all had to be on his doorstep because he lives with his dad and
there's no girls in the house! His dad is a member but hasn't come to church in
a while because he works every week, but we invited Alejandro to come to church
with us and he told us he would! We told him we were going to come by before
church just to remind him and so we went yesterday and we knock and he opens
the door and he's all ready for church and has the directions pulled up on his
phone!!! So that was awesome and he stayed for both hours and then came to
English classes after!
- we had someone yell at us yesterday... So this is a
fun story. We got a referral from the elders in our ward a couple weeks ago
about this house who had members and non members living there. we have gone by
a couple times and keep meeting this woman named Sonia who never had time so
last night we decided to go by and so we get there and there's an old man
blasting Spanish music sitting next to his car and a girl but she saw us and
went inside so we knocked on their front door. A man opened the door and there
is this HUGE dog right next to him. I swear I thought it was a bear. We
introduced ourselves and asked if we could share a quick message. He looked at
us and then at the girl in the back who was holding back another big dog and he
says "she doesn't want a message and it looks like these dogs don't
either" and before we could say anything the girl yells at us and says
"we left the church so if you could leave so we can let the dogs go that
would be great!" Ya that was unexpected butttt oh whale
- we had a midway transfer last night and nothing happened
so yayyayayay
