This week was fun!! Here's some fun things that happened!!!! 

So on Monday we all got the covid booster which made me SICKKK! So basically after we got the booster our district went bowling and that was SUPER fun!! And then after that we were going to go to Buffalo Wild Wings.... but the wait was too long so we decided to go to this place called wingers instead which was still pretty good! Then we got home and right before today ended around 6 I started getting a headache and then boom I had a pretty high fever. Don't know exactly how high because apparently we don't have a thermometer LOL! 

But ya so I was dead that night and till the next afternoon so that was fun hahaha. 

On Wednesday we went on exchanges!! This was super fun because I was in a trio for the day with Hermana Gilbert and Hermana Williams!! #triolifeisthebestlife

But ya it was super fun and we got to teach some people!! It's always fun doing exchanges and seeing the different ways people teach! 

On Thursday we got to do some service FINALLY!!! We were able to do some painting for our friend Crismar and that was super fun!! 

On Friday we just did a lot of contacting as per usual but idk this day just more people opened to us and we talked to way more people than normal! 

And on Sunday we had our Why I Believe with Brandon Mull which was super awesome! So if you didn't watch it go on Facebook to The Road to Hope and Peace and watch it cuz it was awesome! Also follow the page while you're at it. 

Ya this week was super fun! It's crazy how fast the weeks go by haha! 

Also!!! Well so today I went to CHIPOTLE for the first time on my mission and wow it amazing! I missed it... first time with out Caly sad days... 

And also best day because I got my guitar!!!! Shout out Kellie and Grandma for bringing it!!!!!

I love being a missionary especially in Utah.... I know crazy right, but for real the Utah Orem Mission is the best mission in the whole world!!!

What's upppppp

Wow well this week was interesting!

On Monday Hermana Cottrell started feeling sick but it wasn't bad, so we still went out! But then on Wednesday it was way worse so we had to stay home all day. I thought it would be fun.... but no it was so boring and I was so people deprived hahaha. Then on Thursday she was feeling a little bit better so we went out and just dropped off some church invitations on our friends doors but then she wasn't feeling good again so we went home for the night at around 7. That night was less boring because we entertained ourselves by making our own transfer board with all the Hermanas in the Spanish zones! (Which we got one companionship right btw) Ok now here get this.... Friday we had a morning devotional with the mission over zoom and while we were on that Hermana Cottrell was eating some takis but she couldn't taste them! So we called sister Evenson and the nurse and they told her to go get a covid test! So we went and they told us that if she tested positive I would have to get a test also. About 30 minutes later they come out with another test... and yup you guessed it she tested positive! So they had to test me and wow I hated that! But hey I failed and tested negative so YAY. After that there was so much back and forth from the doctors and Sister Evenson but we finally came to the conclusion that we only had to quarantine for that night, because here in Utah it's 5 days from your first symptom! So ya we were really happy about that! 

Saturday we had an amazing zoom conference with Elder Christofferson! That was way cool. We were able to ask him questions and then he talked to us for a little and it was just so cool to be able to experience that! That night I went on exchanges with Hermana Gilbert and we went to one of our friends houses who we haven't seen for 6 WEEKS! So we knocked and boom...celestial timing they walked up the stairs! I looked at them then looked away for a second then looked back and they had turned around and left! Then we went down the stairs to wait for them to come back and then a couple minutes later they go up the stairs BUT THEN they keep going up to the 3rd floor instead of going to their house on the 2nd floor to hide from us! It was sad but oh wellllll. 

Later that night we went to our other friend named Julisa and we put her on date to be baptized! So it made up for everyone not answering us hahaha!

On Sunday our other friend Cris came to church! YAYAYAY we were so happy! She brought her 2 daughters so we got to go to primary and hang out with Cris while she watched what goes on! It was super fun!! 

WE GOT TRANSFER CALLS! This was a stressful night because we all thought I was going to get transferred for sure! So we waited for about 2 hours after they started the calls and we still hadn't gotten one. Then about 9:40 we get a call from the APs and they told us our news. So they told us that I'm leaving the area and white-wash training and that Hermana Cottrell is staying and training as well! We were freaking out but then Elder Johnson said that he was just kidding and that transfer calls were actually over and that we both get to stay!!!! So we are SUPER happy about that! 

They only thing that is changing in our district is that Hermana Beck is going home :((( we are all SUPER SAD! shoutout to Hermana Beck.... you're the best and ily infinity and beyond, time and all eternity... cap!!! GUYS she's the best ever!

FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!

It's 2022?!?! That's crazy wow. 

These last 2 weeks were crazy and went by so fast. n Christmas eve we got to watch it's a wonderful life and that was super fun! And then on Christmas we went to Dari's house and she made us hallacas for dinner and that was super fun! We played bean boozled and I think that's the worst game ever because I had to eat the barf one and the stinkbug one and it was DISGUSTING!

This last week we had lots of exchanges again! Since my comp is an STL, whenever she goes on exchanges I get to go with Hermana Gilbert and it's always SO much fun! On Wednesday I got to go on exchanges with Hermana Beck. We taught 3 lessons together and the second one we went to started out weird. We knocked on the door and some old man opened the door and we asked if the lady we were trying to teach lived there and he told us no. He then left and talked to his wife for about 5 minutes and then came back and let us in and told us the lady we were looking for was in the bathroom and to wait on the couch. We talked to him and asked if he had a Book of Mormon and he said yes and so we asked if he wanted to go get it so we could read together and he said "no I have one". It was weirddd and then, he says "freeze, in inglés freeze" and so we froze and he walked away!! So we went to the couch and we hear in the bathroom that she was taking a shower! So we waited on the couch for about 10 minutes until she got out 😂😂 but we had an AWESOME lesson so it all paid off!! 

On Friday was the last day of 2021 and that's crazy because this year just went by SO FAST, WHAT?! But ya this year is going to be awesome! As a mission we have a goal to have 100 baptisms each month so that's going to be awesome!!! 

On Saturday we were able to go to Alpine to film Hermana becks piano song for our missions Facebook page, The Road to Hope and Peace (go follow it)! So we went to Alpine and got to hang out in the house with a couple other missionaries who were filming it. That was really cool! Shoutout Hermana Beck for being the best piano player!
