HAHA JK, but we are sad here in the UOM because Hermana Mitton is leaving for Spain tomorrow!! The transfer ends on Wednesday so a lot of changes are going to happen! We got transfer calls on Sunday and that was stressful! We are losing almost half our district and of course I'm getting a new companion!! My new companion is from El Dorado Hills, so that's crazy! 

HAPPY LATE THANKSGIVING! Wow it's crazy that Thanksgiving is already over and that it's almost DECEMBER! For Thanksgiving we went over to a family's house in our ward and they made us dinner! let me tell you, IT WAS SO GOOD! They made us wings and we had mac and cheese and potatoes and ya it was amazing! 

We got to go roller skating today and pday at classic skate and that was super fun! Even got the scooters. 

Nothing to much happened this week, we were just trying to teach and visit as many people as we could before Hermana Mitton leaves :((

But ya well sorry it's a super quick and short email but you know the shorter the better!

First off I just realized that I was doing my email wrong and I wasn't adding everyone so sooo sorry about that hahaha! 

This week was SO good! We started off the week with Darihagnnys and she made us some fire arrepas! That is the best food I have had here so far, and there's so many different ways you can eat them! So ya they are so good! 

On Thursday we had zone Conference and it was our mission tour so we had Elder Pearson from the 70 come and give us a training so that was really amazing! He kinda just whipped us all into shape over here and he shared some really amazing stories that were sooo inspiring! 

There is this family that we have been teaching for a while and their cousins just moved from Venezuela to live with them and they all want to be baptized together so we started teaching their cousins this week also and it's so fun! They are so ready to be taught and are always so excited when they see us! 

We had exchanges on Saturday and WOW. SO GOOD! I was with Hermana Beck and Hermana McCain! We started off by trying to get some spontaneous service done by just riding around on our bikes and looking for the yards with a bunch of leaves hahaha. We found this one house that had a bunch of leaves so we went to knock on their door but no one answered! Sad. But next-door there was 4 men and we went over to talk to talk to them. Only one of them was out of the car and the others were in the car but they eventually got out and we started talking to them about the Book of Mormon and we gave them 2 because that was all we had. We asked them how much time they were going to be there and they said about an hour, so we told them to wait and we will be right back, and we went back to get more Book of Mormon's. And when we got back and parked the bikes they were all in the car and right when we got there they all got out of the car and were just ready to listen and it was SO cute! We gave them the other Book of Mormon's and then they added us on Facebook and told us they would read! :)) 

While I was on exchanges I was popping some wheelies and I landed wrong and my wrist started hurting! Then we noticed my bone just didn't look right lol so we went to the doctor today and it turns out it is sprained! OOPS! Looks like I just have to keep practicing my wheelies!

What's up guys!! How are you all?! 

First off let's start with this subject.... so funny story me and Hermana Mitton were in a lesson with our boy Victor and we were talking about national parks, right?... and I was talking about Yosemite and in Spanish trying to explain half dome and El Capitan and then I was telling him about how people free solo it. So I tried to say people climb mountains with no ropes. Instead I said "personas escalar montañas sin ropas" and he goes (in English) "they climb naked?!?!" Because apparently ropas means clothes and not ropes 🤣🤣 so then we just busted up laughing hahaha - that was awkward!! But hey we ended up getting him on date for baptism! He said he wants to he baptized the second Sunday in December! Very specific hahaha but we are so excited! 

We did a bunch of contacting this week and we found one person! Everyone else didn't open their doors! Rude. But this lady we found is named Irma and she seems really interested so we are excited to continue teaching her!! When me and Hermana Mitton go contacting and just wander the streets looking for people it's a PARTY! It's nonstop laughing hahahah. 

We went to another McDonald's today to see if they had regular McChicken's and they don't so that's very sad... we might have to go to every McDonald's in Orem to find just one that has them because I know they exist. 

A family that we have been teaching for a while but haven't been able to contact for a couple weeks came to church this Sunday for the primary program and one of their sons was in it and he gave the closing prayer for the whole ward! We talked to them after church to see what their thoughts were on getting their kids baptized and they told us they all want to be baptized together! They have some family coming from Venezuela this week and they said they are interested and they all want to be baptized together as well! So we are SUPER excited for that. 

We had a combined district activity today that was super fun! We played ultimate Frisbee and football!!!

I JUST WANT A REGULAR MCCHICKEN

Heyoo what's up! The weeks really do go by so fast so that's crazy. I love it in Utah so much... never thought I would say that but the UOM truly is the best mission!! 

Well first off DARIHAGNNYS GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAYYYYY 🥳🥳 I love her so much she is so amazing and her testimony is so strong! I had to give the talk about baptism in Spanish........ rough. After the baptism she and her boyfriend who's a member also took us with his family out to lunch at Milagros and it was bussin!

Every time we have gone to McDonald's here I always ask for a McChicken and they always say oh do you mean a spicy McChicken? I'm like no a regular one and they say those don't exist!! Bruh.... they 1000% exist. So each time I have gotten spicy McChicken's and I'm sad cuz I just want a regular one 😂😂 I think Utah McDonald's are just weird!!!!

We got to do some service this week so that was fun! We helped a sister in our ward put up her Christmas decorations! She has the cutest granddaughter too that would walk around and help us!

Welp! Worst day of the week.... OUR CAR GOT TOWED! we parked to go to a lesson and we were only gone for about 20 minutes and we come back and run into the YSA sisters and they asked if we had our car back and we told them we did and they said your car got towed 2 minutes ago!! BRUH!! Crazyyy! We got it back and after we drove to go do some contacting we went to the Figueroa's and their daughter answered so we gave her a quick lesson and as we were leaving the whole family walked in and so we gave them all a lesson!! So kinda perfect timing! Blessings from the car getting towed HAHAHA

HOLA MIS AMIGOS QUE PASO?!?! 

Wow this week FLEW by! It feels like literally yesterday was pday and here we are again! 

Monday might've been the worst and best day of my life. Let me just tell you...OK best day because we got chickfila!! And even better some guy paid for us all! There were 5 of us sisters in line and he paid for all of us it was so nice!!! AND we got FREE SWIG!!! YA CRAZY... so apparently they just opened a new one up so all 24oz drinks were free!! OK BUT....Worst day because my companion, Sister Mitton got and email saying she's ready to go to SPAIN!! So she's just waiting for her travel plans and I'm very sad about it. I'm gonna be in Spain without the S when she leaves 🥺🥺🥺 

So there has been this family that we have been trying to contact named the Figueroas and they would never answer and we thought they were ignoring us which was sad because we were about to put their daughter on date but we couldn't cuz they wouldn't answer. On Tuesday we stopped by to contact them and they answered!! We were able to teach them so we re-taught them lesson 1 and really emphasized the book of Mormon. But ya it went well and on Saturday we stopped by and reminded them about church and they said "oh of course we will be there!" But they didn't come so that was sad. That's what we have noticed with the some of the people we teach, they tell us that they will for sure be at church and say "where else would we be?!" But then they never come!

Well on Thursday it was actually the best day of my life!  We got our car back!!! We were so happy because we were dreading biking up the Orem hill and we were about to leave and go do some contacting up there but then we got a call from the STLs who had our car and they told us they were giving it back!!! Ya that was best day of the mission so far HAHAHAHA. But ya for sure has been a huge blessing!!

We are still teaching Darihagnnys and wow we LOVE here she is the best! So she's 26 and she's from Venezuela and she moved here about 8 months ago. She is one of those who you teach her and she just asks lots of questions and accepts it and she just knows it's true. She's on date to get baptized November 6th and I can't wait!! 

HALLOWEEN?!?! bruhhh what?! Halloween is over and it's already November?! That's crazy. For Halloween we had our wards trunk or treat, that was fun we passed our some candy and me and Hermana Mitton switched nametags haha!! but couldn't stay too long because no one that we invited showed up! Muy triste :((( but we had to be home by 6 on Saturday because that when people here celebrate since it was on a Sunday. But we got to watch the movie Witnesses on zoom with our whole mission so that was fun!! And yesterday was actually Halloween so we had to be in by 8 but it was weird because I didn't see anyone walking around trick or treating either nights!! 

Anyways this week was amazing and I hope ya'll had a great week too!! Remember Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us all unconditionally and with their strength we can do all things!!!
