18 months

Wowowow I seriously can't believe that it has been 18 months. The last 18 months have been the most fun, crazy and spiritual times of my life and I am forever grateful for the time I had to serve the people here in Utah ❤️ 

 

This last week was amazing. We saw lots of miracles and really just had a lot of fun! 

On Wednesday elder Wiggins gave us a call telling us that one of our friends, Sharon,  who he also taught texted and said she wanted to be baptized this sunday, March 5th.... so with the help of the Lord we pulled it off. It was such a special baptism! It was right after church so most of the ward was able to come... I have never seen that many people at a baptism! 

 

We were able to go to a couple more baptisms this week of people we knew and that was really special as well!

 

Overall it was just a good week! 

 

If there's one thing I could tell you guys is that God is our loving Heavenly Father and He loves each of you so much! He knows you individually and wants the best for you!

1 more week?!?!?!

Hey yalllll so ya crazy news - I come home next week....who would've thought. But ya anyways this week was SO GOOD. It was also sooooo fast! 

Monday we had Noche de Hogar and we just played volleyball and brought all our friends! Then I got sick. So we were in for Tuesday which sucked. 

We did 24 hour exchanges with YSA North and it was so fun! I went into Hermana Sanchezs area and had some lessons, some guy invited me to his baptism this Saturday so that's hype! 

We got to go to the temple for a sealing! In my first area we shared the ward with the elders and they taught Evelyn and Luis Ceballos. They both got baptized December 2021 and we were able to go with them to the temple this last Saturday so they could get sealed for time and all eternity! It was such a special and spiritual experience! 

We also had a Latino fair on Saturday where they had a bunch of courses for them such as immigration, education, lawyers, institute, things like that. They let us do a table with book of Mormons and we got some referrals! It was so fun! 

Then yesterday we got to go to ward prayer with our friend Lilly! That was the first time we had ever done a ward prayer but it was fun! 

Overall it was a pretty good week and I'm so excited for this week!

 Hellooooo everybody!! It's been a while so I thought I would catch you all up! 

 This last week was such a fun week! We had a baptism on Saturday so we were busy getting everything ready for that! Our friend that was baptized is from Chile and her name is Yanara! She's sooooo amazing! She has only been meeting with us for a little over a month and wow, she has got a lot of faith! But the baptism went so well, it was such a good day! After the baptism we went with her and her brother and her friend to a buffet with our friend dominique also! It's was yummm. 

We had a baptismal interview for our friend Charon this Saturday and she's getting baptized this next Saturday and we are so excited for her! She was being taught by the elders before so we just met her but we love her! 

That's most of my updates for the week exceptttt - I got to explain my favorite place in the whole wide world...... its Eagle Mountain of course! My friend Yoselin who I taught there got baptized this Sunday!!!! It was sooooo amazing to he able to go! We stopped by and said hi to some of the people I taught on the way and I got to see my old ward! I loved it! I'll send some pics! We went and said hi to the Thompson family and the Monroys and the Mulders! I missed it out there hahahaha. 

But ya that was my week! I hope you all had a great week and we're able to feel God's love :))

hey guys

Heyyyyy so it's been a couple weeks.... its about time for an update! 

It's been some fun 3 weeks out here with Hermana Matapula!! Ok here's some updates.... 

About 3 weeks ago we had 3 people on date. It was going really well, we were planning for them and making sure everything was good and them 2 of them fell off date. It was soooo sad. Buttt our friend Chris and his brother Cesar got baptized!!! It was such a special day. 

Alsoooo we met this girl named Lilly and we LOVE her! She was a "sisters request" and man is she ready! Every lesson we have with her she has great questions and you can tell that she really wants to learn and grow her faith. We invited her to be baptized and she told us she really wants to but she needs to pray about which day she wants to be baptized. That night she also brought out a bowl of rings and told us that she only give these rings to her best friends 🥺 it was adorableeee. 

We have another friend named Ignacio who's from Chile and he decided to get baptized too February 11th! We are so excited for him also!! 

Javier ended up not getting baptized this week but he is progressing still! We are doing the best we can to help him stop smoking all together. So keep him in your prayers! But his testimony is growing and we know that will help with the process!!

FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!!!

Heyyyy everybody! I know it's been a hot second sooo... 

Merry Christmas 

Happy new years 

And everything else I've missed! 

I'm still here in Orem YSA with Hermana Matapula and we are having a grand ole time. We have seen so many miracle these past few weeks! 

We have 3 baptisms coming up this month!! 

Chris!! He's getting baptized January 8th! He's so cool! Him and his brother are getting baptized together so that will be so special :))

Sharon!! She had a baptism date for December 17th but wanted to postpone it so ya. We met with her this week and asked her when she wants to be baptized! She said whenever she just wants to see one first! So we invited her to Chris' baptism and then we scheduled hers for January 15th! 

Javier!! He's getting baptized January 13th... his birthday!! We have seen lots of miracles with him! His faith is so strong and he has been making lots of amazing changes! Keep him in your prayers! And everyone else!!

We get to go to the temple with our friend Juli this week!!! YAY!! she scheduled it herself! She's amazing. 

We are teaching a couple more new people who are progressing fast! One is Will from Venezuela and another one is Ignacio from Chile! Keep them in your prayers also!! 

We did some exchanges with the sister in Geneva and then this week we went on exchanges with the Portuguese sisters!! That was fun, I got to brush up on my Portuguese... jk I learned some Portuguese jajaja! 

Other than that there's nothing else new!!

TRANSFERS AND MILAGROS

SUP YALL 

So we had transfers this week!! My girl Hermana Moala left me and I got Hermana Matapula!!! It's soooo lit I love my polys! 

This week we had Juli's baptism!!!! So it was supposed to start at 3 she got there at 3:30 and the guy baptizing her got there at 4:10.... the lady who gave us the Keys to the institute said we couldn't leave till everyone was gone so we could clean up and lock up. So after her baptism they had a party with food, so needless to say we ended up there till 7! Hahaha 

Javier had his baptismal interview on Friday and MILAGRO.... he passed! So he's getting baptized on his BIRTHDAY January 13th!! Our other friend Chris decided to be baptized also!! He's getting baptized January 8th with his brother who goes to a family ward!!!!!!! 

So ya it's been a funnnn couple weeks. Also I have no more time but I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

It's been a while

Hey yall what's uppppp 

In all honesty, since I haven't written an email in a couple weeks... (sorry mom) I don't remember much. I would say I'll go back and look at my pictures, but I also haven't taken very many. But here the most important stuff. 

We have been getting some pretty awesome referrals these past few weeks of people who are so open to learning and are progressing fast! We met this girl named Sharon who was a referral from our zone leaders!! We had a pass off lesson with them and we taught her the plan of salvation and she loved it. She asked lots of questions and we were able to talk about baptism and we ended up inviting her to pray about baptism! She said she would YAY !!! I'll keep yall updated on how that goes haha. 

Another one.... we got a phone call from a random number and so casually we answered. It was this lady telling us that her nephew Chris just moved here from the Dominican Republic like 15 days before and that he was interested in going to church! We asked if we could come over before Sunday to meet him and they said yes! So we went over on Friday shared a quick message and invited him to a cena that our ward mission leader was hosting!! 

Soooo ya on Saturday we had this ward cena and we invited so many people. We got a lot of people who said yes... we brought our friend Javier and when we get there it was only him and Chris who came. Sad but it was so fun!!! So they got to meet more people in the ward and it was great! 

Now sunday... we pull up to church and 7 of our friends came!! It was lit. This guy named Blake who goes to an English ward came to our ward and brought 3 of his friends from Chile!! Sooo let's goooo

Right after sacrament after we got them all to second hour we had to book it to alpine to film a music video for the Portuguese Facebook page! It was funnn... I got to play the piano for it and Hermana Moala played the cello! 

But ya it was a great couple weeks! 

Just wanted to let yall know that I LOVE Christmas time!! It's such an amazing time of year that we get to celebrate Jesus Christ! Here's a quick scripture that I loveee 

Mosiah 16:9
